Cліди (2020), traces in Ukrainian, is a project based on archival material of everyday life in Pripyat before the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. These photographs were pulled out from their original context. I set up an open narrative oscillating between familiarity and alienation. Today, Pripyat is a ghost town, abandoned and overgrown by nature. But once it was a thriving town, built in 1970 to house the workers at the nearby Chernobyl power plant and their families. It had all the necessary requirements for Soviet standards.
