The Fleeting Beauty (2019) is born from the idea to seek, with steady and ecstatic eyes, the ephemeral beauty that lives in the phenomenal world and try to capture it with the medium of photography. Sigmund Freud – psychoanalysis’ father, in his work “Caducity” (1915), states that ephemeral beauty foresees to sensible souls the grief for its end. The enjoyment of this beauty, which creates a sense of disorientation to the viewer, is amplified by photography itself.
